Leonardo Parona (Verona, 1990) is Research Fellow in Administrative Law at Bocconi University in Milan.

He graduated cum laude in law at the University of Trento, where he subsequently obtained a PhD in Comparative and European Legal Studies. During the PhD he spent research periods as Academic Visitor at Georgetown Law School (Washington D.C.) and at the Institute of European and Comparative Law (Oxford). In 2017 he also obtained an I.L.L.M. from the Academy of European Public Law (EPLO).

His main fields of research are Comparative administrative law, European administrative law and privatizations. He wrote on administrative appeals, rulemaking (with specific reference to the U.S.), and social services.

 

In the CoCEAL Project he is conducting, under the supervision of Prof. Giacinto della Cananea, a comparative analysis of the general laws on administrative procedure.
